Create task boards, assign work to your team, and link tasks to deals and contacts.
Task Boards
The Task Manager is part of the Pipeline & Tasks add-on. Go to CRM → Task Manager to access your boards.
A task board is a collection of groups (columns) that organise tasks visually — similar to a Kanban board. Create a board for a project, a team function, or any workflow that suits your business. Click New Board and give it a name and colour.
Creating Tasks
Open a board and click Add Task in any group. Enter the task title, description, due date, and priority (Low, Medium, High, or Critical).
Assign the task to any workspace member. Assignees receive a notification and can view their assigned tasks across all boards from the My Tasks view.
Linking Tasks to Deals and Contacts
Tasks can be linked to a deal, a contact, or an organisation in your Directory. Open a task and use the Link field to search and attach the relevant record.
Linked tasks appear in the activity timeline of the deal or contact they are attached to — giving your team a complete view of outstanding work alongside the full interaction history.
Board Membership
By default, boards are visible to all workspace members. To limit access, open Board Settings and add specific members. The board creator is automatically the owner and can add or remove members at any time.
Owners can also transfer ownership or archive a board when the work is complete.
Task Priorities and Due Dates
Each task has a priority level and an optional due date. Overdue tasks are highlighted in the board view so nothing slips through. Filter the board by assignee, priority, or due date to focus on what matters most.
You can also add comments to any task to keep discussion in context, rather than in a separate chat thread.
