Inviting Team Members
Add your team to Batchbase and assign the right roles for each person.
Sending Invitations
Go to Administration → Users and click Invite User. Enter the team member's email address and select a role. They'll receive an email with a link to set up their account.
Invitations expire after 7 days. If a team member misses the email, you can resend the invitation from the Users list.
Understanding Roles
Batchbase has three roles:
- Admin — full access to all features, including settings and user management.
- Member — can create and edit products, recipes, and specs, but cannot change workspace settings or manage users.
- Viewer — read-only access to all content. Useful for external stakeholders or auditors who need to review but not edit.
Changing Roles
You can change a team member's role at any time from Administration → Users. Click the role badge next to their name and select a new role from the dropdown.
Role changes take effect immediately — the user does not need to log out and back in.
